Dr. Ian Rae

Dr. Ian Rae was born in the northeast of England to Scottish parents. He moved with his parents and siblings to the Niagara Falls, New York area in 1985 where his family remained until he graduated from high school. He Received his Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from Grove City College, a private institution about an hour north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Continuing his education, he decided on the University of Pittsburgh where he received his dental degree, Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) and met his wife Jennifer also studying at the University. Dr. Rae also received his training for Intervenous Sedation at the University of Pittsburgh. After graduation Dr. Rae, moved with his wife, to western Ohio, working in a multiple practice group serving Xenia, Riverside and North Dayton area. Dr. Rae has continued to advance his training in cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics,and orthodontics, studying with with some of the world's leading clinitions.

He strives to provide the latest and the best that modern dentistry has to offer by committing himself to a future of continuing education. He is a member of numerous dental societies including the American Dental Association and the Ohio Dental Association, Dayton Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr.Rae and his extraordinary staff hope to bring a caring family atmosphere to his practice, Cedar Village Dentistry, taking the fear of pain and anxiety out of the dental experience and providing a uniquely comfortable environment.
